SaveJerusalem Campaign

The #SaveJerusalem Campaign was a grassroots led and internationally spread initiative to defend the right of thousands of Palestinians in Jerusalem to stay in their homes. Launched in July, 2021, the campaign was a direct response to Israeli intensified ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in Sheikh
Jarrah, Silwan and Jerusalem at large.
The campaign, which was endorsed by rights groups in Europe and the USA kicked off with a webinar attended by 80+ people from across the world. Home defenders from Jerusalem shared their testimonies and called on the international community to end complicity with apartheid Israel. In the occasion of the UN General Assembly meeting (UNGA 76), we released a film that highlights the prolonged Israeli ethnic cleansing in Jerusalem. In the film, we called on the #UNGA76 to investigate Israeli apartheid using the hashtag #UNInvestigateApartheid.
